Purpose

There are literally thousands and thousands of adult sites on the Internet-ranging in quality from fly-by-night, rip-off sites to well thought out, ethical businesses. To the web surfer, there is little to distinguish the fly-by-night from the stable, and the rip-off from the ethical, yet the surfer's image of the entire industry will be formed based on which he or she encounters. Five Star Adult has as its purpose identifying quality. The Five Star Adult site lists only sites that meet its high ratings standards. Sites listed which subsequently no longer meet Five Star Adult's standards are removed.

Credibility

To insure that Five Star Adult maintains its own credibility as an evaluator, Five Star Adult accepts no advertising from any of the sites it has rated. It accepts no payment for the ranking order of sites on its list. The sites listed are displayed in a continually rotating order, so that each Five Star Adult rated site has an equal opportunity to head the list.

Criteria

Five Star Adult ratings criteria have been formulated to deliver the best possible experience to web surfers as they seek on-line adult activities. Sites which receive a Five Star Adult rating permit surfers to explore the adult world without being trapped by endless blind links and pop-up windows. Five Star Adult sites are ethical adult businesses that treat their customers fairly and honestly.

Standards

Five Star Adult rates pay sites only.

All sites listed with Five Star Adult have received a Five Star Adult rating.

Sites that fail to meet Five Star Adult standards will not be listed.

The connection to each Five Star Adult rated site must be direct, with no surprise pop-up windows.

Upon exiting the site visited, the visitor must be returned directly to Five Star Adult, with no surprise pop-up windows.

If a site has pop-up windows, the number of windows will be identified on Five Star Adult as part of its site review.

The ENTER point for each Five Star Adult rated site must appear on the first screen visited. ENTER means enter. No blind or false links are permitted.

All the fees for each Five Star Adult rated site must be clearly posted and strictly adhered to. No hidden charges.

The cancellation policy, including the length of time to process a cancellation, must be clearly posted. If a cancel button is part of the procedure, the button must be clearly visible.

Site Content

The content of sites that earn the Five Star Adult rating is evaluated anecdotally by Five Star Adult staff members who have visited the site personally and annonymously. See Ratings Criteria.

Site Submission

If you are a webmaster and you feel your site meets the Five Star Adult standards, you may submit your site for listing consideration. All sites submitted will be reviewed. However, we will not notify you that a review is taking place. You will also not know the identity of the reviewer. You do not need to provide Five Star Adult with a log-on ID or password. The Five Star Adult reviewer will pay for his or her own membership to your site.
